Our Response to COVID-19
By KULE Team| 10th October, 2020KULE 2020 in-person programs have been put on hold until further notice. Please follow our channels to receive the latest updates.
Along with most of the world, KULE’s 2020 summer program was put on hold due to the CoVID-19 pandemic. Since then, we’ve adjusted our activities accordingly in response to the current situation — while also figuring out new ways to connect with and empower communities.
Although members have had to stay home, KULE has been making the most of the unique opportunities presented by the global situation. People throughout the organization have been working tirelessly to redirect and further the KULE mission. Thank you to our alumni who have made key additions to the summer programs; Shamim Ibrahim and Kamene Mang’oka who are responsible for our new white-savior effect focused curriculum, and Hannah Brendell who worked alongside these two to introduce the feminine hygiene project.
KULE is working to adapt to the new circumstances and using this time to evolve. Keep an eye out for our future activities. Follow @kulefoundationofficial for updates and additional information.
Thank you,
KULE Team
